New York, New York -
Penn’s Northeast, the leading regional economic development agency servicing 9 counties, recently partnered with officials from PA’s Department of Community and Economic Development to host a networking event with 15 national site selectors, brokers and developers to talk about the benefits of locating companies to Northeastern PA.
The mission was to engage stakeholders, site selectors, brokers, academic institutions, and government agencies, paving the way for collaborative initiatives that drive economic competitiveness.
Penn’s Northeast is honored to join with the PA Department of Community and Economic Development and BusinessPA for an exclusive Site Selector event in New York City, bringing together 15 national site selectors, 5 regional partners, and representatives from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The goal of this event is to highlight all that Pennsylvania has to offer for new business looking to expand and grow in the Northeast United States.
“This collaboration showcases the strength and resources of Northeastern Pennsylvania as we continue to share the region’s incredible business advantages - from a strategic location where companies can reach 1/3 of the United States and ½ of Canada in one day’s drive, an available workforce of more than 500,000 people, ready-to-go available industrial sites, 19 colleges and universities and strong community support.
Together, we’re making sure NEPA stays on the map for business growth and opportunity, said John L Augustine III, President and CEO of Penn’s Northeast.”
