Northeast Infrastructure LLC Celebrates its 10 Year Anniversary in Wayne County

Honesdale, Wayne County, PA - Northeast Infrastructure had a modest start in Honesdale, PA. Robert J. Suhosky, company president and U.S. Army retired veteran, felt the need to bring quality infrastructure business practices to the VA Hospitals and Medical Centers throughout the United States.

The local business was founded with a team of experienced business managers and professional engineers and has grown significantly since then.

Operating as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) they have completed projects in over 14 states, ranging from Manhattan, NY to Palo Alto, CA. The company has a growing team of over 24 employees, with an additional Midwest location in Marion, Illinois, which opened in 2019. Staying close to home, the team at NEI is excited to be settling into their new headquarters, located at 34 Brown Street, Honesdale, PA. Although their work takes them across the nation, they are still actively involved with the local Wayne County community and are proud to represent Northeast Pennsylvania.

The company celebrated its 10-year anniversary with an exciting excursion aboard the Stourbridge Line, which runs past their office almost daily. Aboard the train, the team enjoyed reminiscing their years together and commemorative gifts. Bob Suhosky recognizes Mindy White, the very first employee of NEI who helped get the business off the ground; Joe Durkin, partnering associate, and Dale Englehart longest-serving PE with the company.

NEI works together to bring the best in civil engineering services for the men and women who have served our country. “Do it right and do it on time” the company motto, serves as a reminder of the professionalism and quality work that the team delivers for every single one of their projects.
