Enjoy hiking trails and camp grounds all summer, and in the winter hit some of the best ski slopes in the area including Montage Mountain and Elk Mountain .Even if you’re not the most adventurous outdoors fan, there are still activities for you to enjoy including pristine golf courses in the warm months and snow tubing during the winter.

Northeastern Pennsylvania is one of the few areas in the country that experiences all four seasons. Our winters are snowy and our summers are warm; we get a crisp autumn with a refreshing mild spring. Our average temperatures range from the mid-20's in the winter to the low 80's in the summer, giving NEPA residents the best part of all the seasons.

You’ll never be bored in Northeastern Pennsylvania! Whatever the season sports fans have the pleasure of choosing their favorite sporting event to attend. Baseball fans will be thrilled to watch the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Railriders, the AAA affiliate of the New York Yankees. If you’re a racing fan you can watch horse races in Wilkes-Barre or you can cheer on top Nascar drivers in the Poconos. Those who are bigger fans of contact sports can watch the Pittsburgh Penguin affiliated Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins play.
Your weekends will be anything but boring in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our nightlife is incomparable, with top rated casinos featuring slot machines, live table games and night clubs. There’s also several arenas, both indoor and outdoor, for concert fans; from small artists to big name headliners, they all perform in the Penn’s Northeast region.
